From Elite Athletics to Breaking the Silence on Men's Mental Health
About this episode
Najee Fox has won five Premier League titles with Birchfield Harriers and competed for GB at the Team Championships. He's also been through PTSD.
After a career at the elite end of athletics, Najee found himself dealing with mental health challenges that his sporting achievements hadn't prepared him for. He's now channelling that experience into mentoring young people, working with CALM and Jacamo on men's mental health campaigns, and building businesses around music and food.
This episode covers what PTSD looks like behind a high-performing exterior, why mentoring matters, and how Najee turned a tough chapter into a platform.
