I'm a man in my 30s who wants to turn things around. Where do I start with supplements?

Start with the basics. Not the exciting stuff. The basics.

I know that's not what you want to hear. You want a stack that changes everything in four weeks. I've been that man. Thirty-three, business falling apart, sleeping badly, training inconsistently, wondering why I felt like a phone stuck at 12 percent battery.

The answer wasn't one supplement. It was building a foundation.

What the foundation looks like

Three things cover most of the ground for men in their 30s.

Vitamin D3. Most men in the UK are deficient and don't know it. Low vitamin D links to fatigue, low mood, poor immunity, and reduced testosterone. 4,000iu daily. Non-negotiable if you're not getting consistent sun exposure.

Magnesium. Most men don't get enough through food. It regulates sleep, muscle function, and stress response. If you're wired at night, waking up tired, or your muscles feel flat after training, this is likely part of the reason.

Ashwagandha. If stress is a factor, and in your 30s it usually is, ashwagandha directly lowers cortisol. Cortisol is what keeps you stuck at 12 percent. Bring it down and everything else works a bit better.

The 12-week reality

Twelve weeks of the basics will shift things. Not dramatically in week one. Cumulatively, in a way you start to feel by week six and can't argue with by week twelve.

Consistent sleep, decent training, good food, and those three supplements. That's it.

No shortcuts. Just giving your body what it's been missing.
